Our fall concert features Mark Grisez (trumpet), Daniel Lewis (trumpet), Alison Dresser (French horn), Ryan Miller (trombone), and Tony Kniffen (tuba). The quintet will perform brass quintet music spanning hundreds of years and multiple styles, including Ingolf Dahl’s Music for Brass Instruments, and the Canadian Brass arrangements of the Brahms Chorale Preludes. They may even include some jazz inspired works!
Marjie Hanna (cello) and Jill Pitz (harp) are Encore, a captivating duo who will delight you with their Christmas arrangements. Both musicians are graduates of Indiana University and have performed at the World Harp Congress in Copenhagen as well as throughout the Midwest. Make this free concert part of your Christmas celebrations this year!
We welcome the Lilly Chorus for our final concert this year! Join us for a delightful evening of world music that explores the Journeys we might take across time, through life, and maybe with a map in hand. The Lilly Chorus is volunteer community service, after work activity. The singers are employees, retirees, and adult family members of Eli Lilly Company. They sing for Lilly events, community benefit projects, and senior living centers. A portion of the donations for this concert will benefit God’s Bounty food pantry.
