Coordinator of Youth Ministry
Develops, plans, and facilitates weekly youth group gatherings
Plan retreats, mission trips, and special events with the adult team including the National Catholic Youth Conference
Provide pastoral support to youth and families
Recruit, manage, and provide leadership development for adult volunteers
Collaborate with church staff to integrate youth into parish life
Manage the youth ministry budget and communications
Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all youth
Encourage youth participation in church services and activities
Structure
The position is part-time position, 15-20 hours/week
Attend Sunday afternoon youth group gatherings
Attend staff meetings, if possible
Maintain regular office hours on one day per week
Additional hours are flexible
Complete Safe Parish through the Archdiocese of Indianapolis
